Education Advocate
STIC’s Education Advocate works to support a student and the student’s family in understanding and obtaining special education services. The Education Advocate is available to help families navigate the many educational processes and regulations as they support their special needs child in school. The Education Advocate is not an attorney and does not offer or provide legal advice.
Eligibility
Education Advocacy is available free of charge to any family of a child identified or suspected of having a disability.

FAMILY AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT CENTERS (FACE) – STIC houses both the Early Childhood and School Age FACE centers in collaboration with NYSED. We provide training and assistance to parents, school districts, and agencies. Our goal is to promote meaningful family involvement in the educational system and strengthen community relationships.
