PROFESSIONAL COUNSELING

STIC’s Professional Counseling and Psychotherapy Program offers compassionate, personalized support for individuals with disabilities and their families, guiding them on a transformative journey of self-discovery and personal growth. Our licensed psychotherapists and social workers create a safe, judgment-free environment to address a wide range of challenges—whether related to disability, emotional well-being, or mental health—helping clients overcome obstacles and lead fulfilling lives tailored to their unique needs and aspirations.

Unlike traditional approaches that focus on labels or diagnoses, STIC’s counseling is client-driven, with the pace and focus of therapy shaped by the individual in collaboration with their counselor. We provide support for diverse concerns, including family dynamics, stress at home or work, trauma from physical, emotional, or sexual abuse, and other personal issues, regardless of their connection to a disability. By equipping individuals and families with effective strategies and techniques, our program fosters resilience, empowerment, and meaningful progress toward personal goals.

Eligibility -  Professional counseling is available to anyone of any age who self-identifies as having a disability.
