SIGN LANGUAGE
INTERPRETER SERVICES
The Southern Tier Independence Center (STIC) in Binghamton, New York, offers professional sign language interpreter services to support Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals, as well as businesses, agencies, medical facilities, and government entities throughout the Southern Tier. Our fee-for-service program provides a range of interpretation options, including American Sign Language (ASL) Interpretation, Transliteration, Oral Transliteration, and Deaf/Blind Tactile Interpretation, tailored to meet the unique communication needs of each assignment. STIC’s skilled interpreters are deployed to various locations ensuring accessible communication in settings such as medical appointments, workplace meetings, educational events, and more.
To ensure the highest quality service, STIC encourages clients to request interpreters with as much advance notice as possible by contacting us via phone or email. Early requests help us secure the most qualified interpreter available, as many are booked well in advance. While we strive to accommodate last-minute requests, availability is not guaranteed due to high demand. Let STIC help you bridge communication gaps with professional, reliable interpreter services designed to foster inclusion and accessibility.
