EDUCATION ADVOCACY
STIC’s Education Advocate supports students with disabilities and their families in understanding their rights, exploring options, and advocating for the services and supports students need to participate fully in school. Grounded in the Independent Living philosophy of choice and self-determination, the Education Advocate helps students and families navigate special education processes and regulations, make informed decisions, and build self-advocacy skills. The Education Advocate is not an attorney and does not provide legal advice.
Eligibility - Education Advocacy is available free of charge to any family of a child identified or suspected of having a disability.
