Governor Hochul, irrepressible in her capacity to disappoint, has published an editorial announcing that she will sign an amended version of the MAID bill. There's still a possibility that the legislature will not approve the governor's alterations, but we must concede that seems very unlikely. Nevertheless, we will continue to do all we can to defeat this corrosive legislation.
