COMPLIANCE CHATTER

Reports of fraud, abuse, or unethical activity and violations of STIC's Corporate Compliance Plan, can be made to STIC's anonymous hotline @ 1-855-210-8495. When making an anonymous report, be sure to include:

• A description of the alleged activity
• The names of the parties involved
• A description of the alleged activity
• The date/time the alleged activity took place
• Location of any available evidence

Examples of Things to Report

• Billing for services not actually performed.
• Providing unauthorized services.
• Billing for services without proper documentation.
• Billing for more than once for same service/date.
• Falsifying timesheets.
• Giving or accepting something of cash value (cash and/or gifts) in return for services.

What can you do to prevent unethical activity or abuse?

• Be honest and accurate in filling out timesheet
• Do not fill out timesheet in advance of providing service.
• Be on time and provide services as indicated on plan of care.
• Keep accurate and complete records.
• Keep consumer information confidential.
• Report any dishonesty or abuse of time or service provided.
